About the Artist
Thierry Duval, from the South of France, has been mastering the use of aquaralle (watercolor) painting since 1990. His method involves photorealism, resulting in precise depictions of photos, magnificently enhanced by his own creative interpretation. His paintings are characterized by a play of light and shade. He paints famous Parisian architectural icons such as the Sacre Coeur and Notre Dame de Paris and cityscapes along the Seine River, as well as other places in France and other countries.
