M’6S Cocotte (20 cm), with lid, stainless steel handle

Original price was: ₱66,966.00.Current price is: ₱56,921.10.

After years of research, Mauviel1830 launches a complete collection of copper utensils suitable for induction. A real technical feat, and without sandwich bottom, M’6s is made of 6 layers, combining, stainless steel, 3 successive layers of aluminium, stainless steel, and an exterior layer copper. This alloy ensures a perfect conductibility, thanks to a rapid and uniform distribution of the heat, all over the product. This cocotte (also known as a stewpan) goes with a stainless steel handle.

Daily Cleaning

  • Allow the cookware to cool completely before washing. Never pour cold water into a hot cookware, as this may cause warping.
  • Wash with warm water and mild dish soap using a soft sponge. For everyday cleaning, this is all you need.
  • Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
  • Dry immediately with a soft cloth to prevent water spots and maintain a polished finish.

Removing Stuck-On Food

  • Fill the cookware with warm water and let it soak for a few minutes.
  • Gently loosen food with high-quality wooden or silicone utensil.
  • Wash as usual with mild soap and a non-abrasive sponge.

Removing Discoloration & Restoring Shine

  • Over time, stainless steel may develop heat stains or rainbow discoloration. This is normal and does not affect performance.
  • Copper requires a little more care than most other cookware. It is fine to let the copper exterior darken with age (otherwise known as “patina” or “verdigris”). Copper will naturally darken without regular polishing, but you may wish to use Copperbrill Copper Cleaner (currently not being sold on this website).

The use of scouring pads, steel wool, abrasive cleansers, bleach and/or oven cleaners is not recommended and can scratch or damage your cookware. It is not advisable to use a dishwasher for washing cookware due to the harsh chemicals used in some dishwashers that could shorten the life span of your cookware. Never use cleaners containing bleach to clean cookware – bleach is corrosive and will cause your cookware to pit. Bleach will erode the stainless steel surface and should not be used on any Mauviel cookware. Misuse of your cookware will void your warranty.

Do not use high heat for a long period of time. Do not leave empty cookware on a heated burner for an extended period of time.

Warranty: See Return, Refund, and Exchange Policy, Section D.

About the Brand

Founded almost 200 years ago, in 1830, by Ernest Mauviel in Villedieu-les-Poêles (aka the copper town), located in the Manche department of Normandy, northwestern France, Mauviel has been producing hand-made copper cookware, applying the town’s 800-year medieval tradition of copper working, while innovating like in the case of the M’6 S collection. Mauviel also offers stainless steel cookware. For its know-how and craftsmanship, Mauviel has been granted a Living Heritage Company (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) label by the French government.
